it took 22 hours for them to get that brocclie, err brocly....the veggies unloaded
even i was shocked
by that time the preplanned load i was supposed to get was way behind,
but they decided to have me pick them up anyway, so i picked up lettace of different kinds from 3 different places, all of it headed to a grocer in New mexico,
no matter what i did i was going to be late on this one, but i drove as hard as i could and arrived today 13 hours late, and now sit, as the people that unload and inspect produce dont get here till in the morning
so once again, here i sit, shopping on ebay, loitering in the ds lobby
ohhh i found out that my new purple blue light is a beacon for those nice women that want to clean my truck, this makes me sad, as they keep waking me up, and now i have to remove my trucker bling bling
holler later

sux to be me, i delivered meat in california, in downtown LA, and picked up a load of produce in riverside california,
the load assignment said the load was 36000lbs, so i didnt think much of it, and shifted the trailer axles all the way forward to get under the load, and rolled,
to be stopped at the arizona weigh station 3000 lbs over gross weight (i am 83040 lbs) max gross is 80k, make a long story short, i in bad trouble looking at what i am told is a 3000.00 ticket, although after a 10 min search i did find that my bill of lading had the correct weight of 46600lbs , this is a first for me as all my other loads the load assignment and BOL have only been a thousand or so lbs off.
on the bright side, i bought a camera and hopfully will be posting some pics
The Bridge!

work station in sleeper where i play DS

arizona desert out my windsheild at weigh station where it sux to be me
http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/2781/dscf0003kv4.jpg
sad as it is, my camera only has memory for 3 pics, untill i get a memory card
wish me luck on the ticket, if i cant pay it they suspend my Lic. and i will be going home to work where i can
4 those that care, this ticket is my fault as i was supposed to check the BOL for total weight of load, and i didnt do my job. I trusted what the company sent me, i cant blame anyone for this, but consider it a very expensive lesson, that will not repeat, i just hope the company dosnt charge me for the guy coming to take the weight off so i can roll again
broke again, but still lovin it
SOF

well, hi all, long time no post
its been a hectic while, was able to pay the ticket turned out to be 1600.00 bucks, not near as bad as i thought, but bad enough.
have spent last few weeks running produce and meat, an was able to finnally get 10 days of home time which i enjoyed,
finnally pimped my truck out, and got a microwave, and a chemical toilet while i was at the house,
as soon as i reported ready after home time, i picked up 38ooo lbs of totinos pizza rolls in ohio, and took them to fort worth TX, then picked up a load from Kraft in TX, an took it to denver co, in denver, they refused 3900 lbs of mayo, yes mayo , and i had to wait for the company to tell me where it went, now i sit in denver waiting a load, but its a holiday weekend, so expect it to take a while, which dosnt break my heart as i bought Stargate sg1 seasons 1 and 2, and am happly watchin them, laid back, with no money on my mind
anyway, holler later

long time no post
heat, cold, more heat, power surges and unautherized passengers finally killed the desktop computer i have been using on the truck, which is why u havnt heard from me,
i finally couldnt stand it any more and stopped at the nearest officer depot my GPS had listed and bought a cheap laptop it sux, and it has vista which i hate already, but it works
i am making decent money again and boy am i rolling, more of the same, but have been getting good trips for a while now, i am coming up in sept. on my one year with the company as a solo driver, and they starting to trust me with longer trips, i had a 2100 mile trip from arkansas to washington state, then 1800 miles from there to chicago, then a tiny 1000 mile trip to dallas tx, from there 2000 miles to new york, and maryland, then picking up hazmat in pittsburg and going to san diego CA
this translates to much monies 4 meh
i have now put 40,000 miles on this truck since i leased it from the company, and am well on my way to my first 100k with the company
at the moment i am parked at a service area/McDonalds on I44 west bound just outside oklahoma City OK, and wishing there was a closer bathroom, as lunch is having issues with breakfast, and both are making themselves known
well, holler later
keep the shiney side up
sux to park this things (yes thats my truck)
