- white line going across the northern hemisphere of earth (starts in EU, ends in sea of japan)
- mining beam on ugto engy (unconfirmed on other races) is distorted and becomes invisible when reaching the planet (looks faded out)

Reported in mantis

Mining beam is a common gadget, so it should be the same for all. But it also has a fade-out effect to it in the resourcer, so I think this is intended. - of course, maybe it shouldn't, but I don't think its a bug per se

Some of my own:
(ICC) Barracks just has blank icons for build heavy/inf buttons
the same barracks spawned inf on the back side of the planet. Doesn't really matter, but kinda odd. (edit - was unable to duplicate this on further planets)
the 'unable to drop on starported planets' seems only to affect those planets within safe zones. I could drop on a few other planets I tested on just fine; on the main diamond, on an arbitrary build diamond, or on the starport. This held for a half dozen planets on both human factions.

Jumping
When you jump to a planet you will receive the "collision alert" warning when you are nearing your destination. the higher the velocity when initiating the jump the more frequent the message is played.
the jump is finished succesfully the audio is just iritating as hell, as if its still set for the old jump when motion is a 0.0Gu

Building a Solar Generator results in a building that takes one worker and does nothing.

Since second to last update the text on my screen is screwy... can't read anything, it's all blurry. Game graphics seem okay, but inf and planet structures, all game text is blurry. Starts right when I load up the beta, from the caching screen text onward.

It's possible it was on the dark side - in any case I'll check again and see
edit: Yeah I was. you can laugh at me now.

that could be an anti-aliasing setting, or try toggling Alpha Fonts in setup

docking a command dread (other ships?) with a cargo full of infantry results in a SERVER: Not enough cargo space message when trying to spawn it

Drone warrior/ Done Besekers icon (when you right click on an inftray and a "3d model" appears in the bottom right) is too large. It is either zoomed in too much on, or scaled up too large
Edit: Changing an aux gen to an aux shield gen results in the shield generator only covering the arc the aux gen was assigned to. so an aux gen as "aft" only gets aft protection whens witched to a shield gen. This is utterly useless. It should be full (or is that balance?)
edit 2: can't change from AR missile to sabots. or IT missiles.
edit 3: I hate the mouse locking glitch
Also, Try this out: spawn an icc ship and angle the camera so you're looking at the sensor attenae of the jumpgate, and the ships trail is overlaying it.
Except......it's supposed to be overlaying it. what will happen is that the sensor attenae part will appear on top of the ship trail. This happens in other places (planet diamonds appearing "on" a ship in orbit for example) too

this is acutally the same model that's been in use since... well its the same one as in 483 anyway, its perhaps more noticable with the new inf icons. so, looks weird, but not a bug

the model has not been changed, its not any larger. what has been changed is the infantry icon (both are still 16x16), and the way its be overlayed on the model in that now you dont see the back side of the box, like in 483.
