But i agree, a serial killer amongst us. that makes things more disturbing. new that we got each other suspecting all others of being a pirate. It might have thought YES my chance and killed random people amongst us.
So a serial killer.. who would have thought of that.
BTW thinking about it, who here carries a gun? Sardaukar got shot in the head. i don't carry one. only weapons i got with me on board is my fist, my brains and this kitchen knife.
Anny one here carrying a gun?
Don't look at me, you guys didn't think about it either.
Only question left to do. do we each grab a gun and ammo or do we eject these in to space?

A little recap...
The following officers are alive:

The following officers are dead:
Fattierob/1000 Unit Block - Intelligence Officer, lynched.
Sardaukar - Medical Officer, died in the night.
Bardiche - Pirate, died in the night.
Timbo - Officer, died in the night.
alrighty, so here is what we're left with of the GT and Rob fiasco - Rob is a gambler, and GT most definitely implied on more than one occasion that he had "investigative" abilities. since he is not the intelligence officer, it is possible he was trying to pretend he was in order to throw us off of him, or he is an imbocilic officer.
id also like to point out, THREE people died in the night. that means there are THREE murderers. one of them has died already, the pirate, but we have 2 more among us. that means, unless we get one tonight, there will be only 5 of us tomorrow morning.
now then, three killers. one of whom killed the medical officer. so GT had no protection. if we all suspected he might be the intelligence officer, surely one of the murderers thought so as well? unless, of course, he was one himself. true enough, it would be difficult for him to escape, because 1 of the other killers atleast would suspect likewise. however, a serial killer would be wild and perhaps not strike, perhaps taking pleasure in the danger that he might be discovered. so were GT a killer, he would surely be a second pirate.
now then, we clearly have a serial killer among us, and the pirate is dead, but neither a serial killer nor a pirate would be able to kill Timbo without leaving a trace on him. rather, he was killed by a professional. i suspect we have among us a pirate kingpin as well.
thus, all of that taken together, seems to suggest that GT might be a pirate leader of some sorts, a professional killer. to me atleast. this is not because i have anything against GT, i do not, it is simply logic based off the behaviour exhibited thus far.
now then, as for Eledore and Smartin. presuming i am correct, you are merely creating havoc for one another and bringing suspicion upon yourselves, so i implore the both of you to remove your votes and vote for someone else, someone who you have an actual reason to vote for rather than your petty squabble. surely your survival is more important than revenge for an insult? Smartin, you would best facilitate this by simply apologizing to Eledore for something that was interpreted as an insult. im sure Eledore would respond kindly to such a thing.
in any case, beyond these 2 main thoughts, perhaps we should heed the advice of our lost comrade 1000 unit block - pay the closest attention to those whom have been silent, and wait to pray on our confusions. although again, GT has most certainly confused us as to his innocence or guilt, by being the most vocal i think.
i suppose you could make a case to suspect anyone, even me. you could say that im trying much too hard to placate everyone with reason. i suppose that would be justifiable, although rather paranoid dont you think? "oh no! shes making too much sense! kill her!"
anyways, discuss.

apparently i missed the bit about smartin apologizing already, sorry about that.
i also didnt vote, but i figure i will wait until people have replied, to see if i can be convinced otherwise of my current assertion that GT seems like a suspicious character.

there might not be a seirial killer, but a bunch of pirates working indepentanly.
Maybe the killer and Bardiche got into an arguement about a bounty or treasure, it turned violent, Bard died.
for now i going to wait.

no pirate would brutalize a body that way. they take what they want, gloat about it, and then leave. doing something this disturbing to another human being means they enjoyed it. pirates enjoy loot, not cutting up a dead body.

anyways...
i will wait to hear any possible counter arguments from other officers before voting, i dont want to be too hasty.

Well then, I more or less forsee two possible scenarios, one with a single remaining pirate, one with two. The possibility does exist that more are among us, but that would only cement my reasoning.
The fact is with these two possibilities we have either 3 or 4 people capable of killing: the pirates plus the two killers.
If we do nothing, three more of us will be dead.
I stand by my vote for Eledore, because action beats inaction.
Make of that what you will.

After careful reveiw I have come to a conculsion. GT is either the worst pirate ever in the galaxy, or the worst office ever in the galaxy. Either way he is confusing as all gets out, and is distracting us from our investigation.
Yes, remember what Frob told us, and also notice that goth is quick to side with whoever hasn't voted for him.

A serial killer would not care who gets flushed out as long as some one dies. (Preferably by his hands but he can't be to picky)

obviously im gonna side with whoever doesnt pick me....because i know who my friends are SMARTIN, and i have said time and time again, im a Regular Officer, where you got Investigation Officer is beyond me....you are so quick to judge me that you havent noticed Doda is missing...and i've been here, being interrogated by an insolent BUFFOON! for the last 17 hours! Now if you'll excuse me, i must get back in my quarters to hit the sack...I.E go to bed...im tired of these accusations and im sick of them.....also, the reason i defend myself is because as a teen growing up i was always teased for being a Str8 A Student, a good prankster (Got Suspended for throwing the teachers hovercar on the roof  ) so in conclusion Smartin is the serial killer...because he wants to get rid of me to stop prodding around where my nose doesnt belong. in either case, my vote still stands *votes for smartin*
(PS) have any of you seen my knife laying around?
