More having trouble stabilizing an old server tower that must use the worst wifi connection I've ever seen/had. Everything would run fairly well if the connection didn't fail constantly.

There is a reason i Love wires and dislike wifi..
And don't say you dislike wires because they are wires, or that wires will lay in the way, or look ugly. That v/s unstable unknown obsticle and disconnecting wireless connections. wires aren't that bad looking at all..
p.s. playing hardcorely normal. it takes a LONG time to get to 'the end'..... ( i still haven't)

I love ethernet, just can't use it due to certain circumstances. Trust me I know exactly how flaky wifi can be with that damn tower... :\ The laptop actually was better, and i'm trying a wireless card soon instead of a small usb adapter.

I play Im still trying to figure out how to log into your server my IGN is HAD3Z and I have a legal account with minecraft. I spend most of my time underground in the redstone zone.

yea, dont use wifi ever when your hosting a sever ment to be up for a while. belive me I have had that problem many times, for instance I used my laptop which is the same M11x as before, however I was just hosting a simple Garry's mod game for my friends so no one else could join, with this laptop i was ok, however the second one little thing went on next door the wifi flickered and made everyone die a little inside after everything that they had created after four hours was destroyed.
anyway what are the tower specs, RAM, Processor speed etc. I may have an extra tower to use ethernet and all, however its ram is nearly gone from fraking theiving family members.

I just installed Buildcraft into my minecraft, it is the most epic mod for minecraft yet, I love working to build a quarry, I dont feel like shelling out 2 bucks for instructions when I can get it free from youtube so I still have ways to go and to explore.

Just so you guys know, my website as well as all three minecraft servers are up, I am however waiting for bukkit to release their recommended build before re-configuring everything again.
A.K.A. The servers are staying 1.8 until the next RB comes out.

Glad to hear this is still going. I've been mostly occupied with new jobs, but when I've been playing its on this other server where we were able to make some pretty epic builds. They are being flaky and keep starting new maps so everything I built is gone ;( I'm hoping to get a hardware upgrade for x-mas so I can just host my single player world, but I'll try to stop by and check out what you have going cuz you were the coolest admin/builder I've worked with.

If you'd like, I can host your single player world as well. I'm running everything on a dedicated server now, so there should be essentially zero down-time. (Although if you do get that hardware upgrade, it would be better for you to host, I can only spare about 500MB - ~<1GB per server atm. I can however provide a static ip/domain in the form of subdomain or subdirectory redirect, if you self-host, if you want to do either, just shoot me a pm)
Also, thanks, it means a lot. 
EDIT: OH, very important, I upgraded the server from 10.04 LTS to 11.04 (ubuntu), and the wireless issues have since disappeared.
