Just so you know, CMP is up as 1.0 and with our old map.
It doesn't have any plugins, and the other servers will be updated soon. After that, I'll slowly but surely get the plugins all in order, suggestions will be considered.
I will do a buildcraft server for those who requested it, although it will take longer to get running than the others, I would say it will be running next sunday.
EDIT: Use codingrebels.com:25566 to connect. (Just in-case someone doesn't know and is too lazy to go back a page or two.)

Not going for an identical recreation so much as just using parts of the design that I like. In any case I know what you mean but I haven't gotten to the outer walls yet. SPC broke before I could finish the circles for the wall. Thats why I need help lol.

Just popped on the server, as far as I can see theres nothing of worth, bugger all trees near the spawn area, and anything that has been built is either covered in lava, or blown up by TNT.

Lol, the survival map is moot, and will be reset once the plugins are installed. As for creative, if it got vandalized, I have a hard backup so no worries.

Most interesting spots are more then a minute of "creative" mode flying away from the spawn.
The spawn is actually littered with old remains of people building to close to the spawn. that would be the biggest problem. another is that half the big builds are either unfinished or as you said blow to bits, run over by lava or even water..
I would say move the Spawn to a new place and build a proper starter town.
(could move the spawn to town bandar, but that needs a little rebuild first)

actualy i think i may have something better for you guys who would be joining the buildcraft/industrialcraft 2 servers. to make it easier on you all and to make it so you can keep your minecraft.jar file the way it is, i can upload my mods folder and minecraft.jar file to mega upload and drop the link here, that way you dont have to bother with the instalation nonsense and risk.
btw my mods are as followed, I belive a few of them would be to many peoples liking,
Buildcraft
soon to be Industrial Craft 2
minefactory
forestry
redpower
railcraft
and planes mod
none of those require buildcraft. buildcraft in its own is a lot.
i think whomever likes trains would love railcraft.as for the server files I do not have them and probably never will.

If you want to maintain access control, use a whitelist.
If you don't want to manage it, set up a little thing on your website that posts to the white-list file.

My solution has and will be proper configuration of the permissions file.
I've done whitelists before and its more of a nuisance than a benefit.
EDIT: I will however configure my hand-made CMS to connect to the minecraft servers and control permissions / whitelist. (A.k.a. You will need an account on my site, and include your minecraft ID on your profile.)

Lol, it will be fixed, although it's unneeded for now. The whitelist system won't be implemented until my CMS is in place, and registering to the wordpress site has no benefit other than updates about the posts. (which would either be RSS feed which requires no account, or email based, which doesn't work yet, or doesn't exist, I haven't checked.)
EDIT: Speaking of which, I also need to fix the FTP server, it seems to be having permission issues. (Cannot create directories or presumably files, even though I changed the group to the proper one, and used chmod on several directories in an attempt to fix the access problem.
EDIT2: Wow, I just noticed that 5 unactivated accounts exist now. I recognize eledore and lockerd's, but the other three are unusual.
EDIT 3: Nvm, they are activated, I guess you didn't try logging in with the supplied details?
EDIT4: I guess I should get off my lazy ass and fix the web server. I'll let you know if I get mail() and ftp working. Apparently wordpress 3.3 just got released.
