FYI for anyone looking for a replacement for the lobby system whilst it's down, I've now installed a Chat feature on my personal website's forum that connects to Eledore's IRC server.
http://www.jack-online.co.uk/forums (select the 'Chat' option at the top).
To change your name once connected, just type /nick , or register on the forums.
