Come onto my vent server sometime Wayne - that way me, you and Pete can talk about how we're going to go about the R33 memorial this year.

Memorial will be held Saturday 17th March @ 9pm GMT in the R33 System.
Drafell is currently adding this to the events list, but please try work out the time in your own timezone, as DST in the US is throwing us for a loop.
A general request to the whole playerbase:
While this may mean little or nothing to some, or indeed most of you, Id just like to ask that you respect this gathering, so that we may honour our departed friend in peace. It is a very serious event for many of the older players of DS past and present.
If you do not wish to attend, then please respect the privacy of those that do, by not interfering. I hope that the staff, as in previous years, will be on hand to step in with anybody deliberately intending to cause mischief.
I look forward to seeing as many people as possible there to pay respects to Paul, his memory, and his legacy he left us.

For reference to all of you that dont know the world time zones off the top of your head.
9PM GMT = 5PM Eastern US time, 2PM Western US time.
Note that this is not the normal time coversion, due to Daylight savings screwing with us.

Oh no... I've got to be at a symphonic band competition at that time . Graduating this year, so I shouldn't have anything to stop me next time...

Bah, had to make it St. Patricks day, didnt you Pete?
I'll try and keep sober enough to attend and not end up humping a planet in the corner or something..

Long time guys. Sorry enough to say, as many times that ive been around for them, unfortunatly I will be unable to attend the gathering this year. Got a roadtrip with my fiancee planned out and we're leaving Tomorrow (Mar 17th) morning. If I can, I'll stop in and leave a post or something, but its doubtful. So Im posting this now to pay my respects.
Paul was indeed a great player, as well as a terrific friend. I miss him, we all miss him. And even up until this day I havent seen anyone who cared and put in as much devotion to the community and playerbase as he. So as it always goes. Paul, I hope your doing alright, and my friend, may you rest in peace.
As for Pete and Jack, sorry for the last minute cancellation, I wish I could be there. But right now real life matters have me held up. So if you guys can, say something for me when the memorial time comes up. And make sure to take some screenshots for me please. Appreciate it mates.
Reguards.
-Ryan
