A GA ship |

How bout this those ppl that get the rank of GA have a ship thats like a mobile shipyard. Nothing over powered but its like a station, in its ability to wormhole and size and it requires the resourses to make ships and if its found by enemies its pretty weak. So that there would be more point working hard to become GA, not just the recognition that youve been playing the game for a very long time, and something that can help the fleet and give them some way of moving around once you arrive into a system. Or make it a platform only a GA can make so that ships get a way in once you invade the system.
Just a thought. One of the many ideas Ive came up with since I joined the game.

instead of haveing a moblie shpyard why not have a Worm Hole Type II Device that only has like 10x the wait besides a normal Worm Hole Type I Device that will create a wormhole for about 15 mins.
Not sure i can see flaws with my proposal, but i agree i would like some development for being able to bring in some ships faster during an invasion.

One more addition it shouldn't be GA that gets it, woulld like it to be FA

Would be interesting if the "DeepDock" commander got some sort of cash kickback when a ship is built...

What you are proposing for a GA is a Station that is: Bigger, slower to recharge its Worm Hole, and weaker in Armor ... but it has a Shipyard type function . . . This seems to be an improvement over the Current Station because the current station is only: Big, Slow and Weak and lacking a Shipyard.
I would prefer: Small, Fast and weak...atleast then I won't have to waste so much time getting to the place that will ultimately be my grave.
p.s. Also: In my experience there is a direct link between high prestige levels and the decline in the desire to "Just want to help out the Team". Not saying that GA's don't want to help out, I'm just saying, that perhaps My desire to Kill you in a Station (something I have done a thousand times over) is not as great as my desire to kill you flying a modified Engineer (ooh! something I haven't done a thousand times over!)

A mobile shipyard seems to be quite interesting and not too overpowered since attack forces will get a shipyard planet anyway pretty fast

Hell, and all I wanted was an improvement of the stations.
I mean, theyre slow, which I dont really have a problem with.
They have weapons, but the energy goes to hell way too fast for something too big.
And more importantly, they have the absolutele weakest armor/hull that has ever been created, Its like a scout with heavy armor, and it really make getting a station a turnoff.
Improve the damn stations F, make FA something more than bragging rights again!

(P.S. Actually I liked the really really old stations that when they went, they did alot more dammage than they do today.)

Why a ship?
It is so hard to get an GA, why dont he get some system improvements?
Like faster firerate, faster build a little more speed, faster repair,
more jump distance, more ?maneuverability? ?
I think thats bit more interesting than ship which can destroy Planets

Another Idea, really only for ICC/UGTO as dont really know for K'luth.
Basically take the AC/TC Chassis and Config, change it to 3 Heavy Beams, 6 Armour/Shield Slots, 6-7 Full Torp slots, 2 Reactor slots, give it an Extra Engine slot and Viola, a TRUE Assualt class ship piloted by those who deserve it most...
throw in and Extra Req like a minimum of 20,000 Ships Damaged and your onto a winner that will please all
For Kluth, Dunno, maybe a Gang with 2 reloads, extra armour, extra reactor, 2 more weapon slots and give it 4 full Torps, maybe make 4 of the Disruptors full arc or something

My idea for the GA ship is the Super Assault Destroyer, or possibly the Assault Supply Scout.
