As of about 1400 hrs GMT the PB fleet is a member of the UGTO faction.
This change was well prepared and we are looking forward to fighting with the rest of the faction to overcome the brutal Kluth and the terrible ICC.
Join arms and help us in our campaign to rule the universe.
On another note:
Those of you who fell for our little game of we dont love each other well, you fell for it and we laughed a LOT! It was good fun in the sometimes dreary days in the lobby 
And Demorian, here is a beer for you Dont take it so hard and lets get on with the game.

OK, now that was really great fun!!! I really enjoyed the verbal battles with my PB-friends in the lobby yesterday, playing the sad and disappointed ex-PB Teager.
To make one thing clear to all who were online yesterday and saw me freaking out: No, I don¡¦t hate PB, and KC, Darksworde CC, Quant, Spir etc. are still very close firends. I just wanted to have some fun and so I acted as if I really was angry with those guys.
Sorry to the mods who were online (Hi Darkheyr)...I think I (we) caused a lot of work ļ
Anyway, I am happy that I was able to participate in this thing....as I said, I had loads of fun, insulting Darksworde public and laughing my ass off in the /whisper that was following immedeately ļ
It was a good thing....I think noone will think different now ļ

I have to say, GTN was the best - but for Lith's excessive ranting and Demorian's dramatics it wouldn't have been nearly as funny

I actually knew of the change, as did some of GTN that paid attention to our forum. Thanks to Lith
Information leaks are fun... so is playing along with the game. I even pulled g0ds s0ldier aside for a "disconcerted" talk about what the "hell' was going on. How many laughs did that bring?

another question
when the well playing PB starts to kick both icc and kluth ass whats next on the list an nerfing of the UGTO becaus it must be becaus of the to strong ships and not the players ofcause

Okay, now for my serious post... (as for my previous post, yea, there was a brief moment when I believed KC had gone utterly insane... that was about 20 minutes of my life before Lith's post... this is all while I was at work  )
Truthfully, there is a part of me that is against all of this. There's that part of me that's all "ah, PB have forever been our rivals in this game, there's no other way to have it, yadda yadda"... and believe me, I'm sure many GTN feel the same way in some sector of their conscience.
However...
Our rivalry has never been, at least intentionally, bitter... we've pissed each other off at points, and at a few different times KC and I have utterly despised each other... but on the whole, we salute each other more often than not. Unless we were trying to take Wolf back for the third day in a row. *growls at 4c*
The UGTO... and the Navy... welcomes you to the UGTO for as long as you might stay. The rebels and the aliens must prepare for a new era in the power of the UGTO, if only a short one at that. Rest assured, while you are here, Pitch Black... we will be both in front of you and behind you. We will guard you, teach you, then unleash you and let your own incredible ability as players take the helm... This is an opportunity heal some of the old wounds and forge renewed friendships between our fleets that have been tarnished since the late november and early december of 2001 when our fleets were founded.... and for God's sake, I mean that sincerely
I pledge the Navy's total support of PB's UGTO run.

agreed. Oh to any1 i might have inadvently offended, I am truely sorry. However, we laughed so hard at some of your responses I nearly had a heart attack.

Every faction has their l33t bits...
UGTO... flux...
K'luth... lots and lots of CL2k...
ICC... practically undefeatable assault cruisers (when piloted well)...
In my humble opinion, K'luth is still, and will always be, the worst.
Perhaps you're right though, Dark. Opinions can and do change.
