Meh... I got a problem.
Everytime I try Export to FBX and check that Embed Media option, I get this warning message.
"The plug-in does not retain the orientation of Diagonals on Editable Poly objects. This could have an impact on modified UV coordinates. Refer to the Online Help for more information. The following objects are affected:"
And it lists all my individual ship parts.
Eventually when I open up the FBX file again in 3DS max... no textures. It's just the polygons. :\
Help, anyone?

He has much more experience in 3dsmax than me, or anyone else here I know.

Both the Mantichore and Carapace have been uploaded to Sendspace.
They're in a ZIP file... Both in FBX format with their texture folders.
Link is in your Private Messages.
Let me know if they work out ok, or I may have to resend you the MAX file instead.
Kraken and Pincer to follow in a few days. Need time to do some touch ups.

Update: I'm slowing touching up all the ships one by one.
There won't be any new K'Luth ships until I've fixed the current ones.
First off will be the Manticore destroyer, with a redesigned hull, some retexturing... now with bump and luminosity mapping. Enjoy
- Redesigned hull. UV mapped now. The arms and fins are still texture direct pasted however.
- Added luminosity and bump mapping for a more realistic look
- The scythe/arms has been readjusted to be less symmetrical
- Fins also adjusted

insteed of replacing ships with theses desgins (talking about the dreads) i know they have been looking for ships for cm and such the kraken should be a marshall ship and ned the golt pivteer and the pincer be cm ships and need all plat badges

That is the Dev's decision. But they have stated that they're gonna rework the layout, and add models.... and they may add new roles within classes.
So who knows.

UPDATE: Carapace Cruiser
Now also with bump and luminosity mapping.
- Added in an engine pod at rear
- Retextured ships... UV Mapped the whole hull except for the 3 spines and fin (still directly textured)
- Added lighted windows/vents at forward hull
- Now bump mapped for a more realistic skin appearance

The Pincer gets the same treatment now.
- Re-textured main body, with bump and luminosity maps
- Limbs (Scythes and spines) are still directly textured and stretched... but bumped too)
** update.
- Reshaped the dorsal bump on the main hull to give it a slight "hunchback" appearance.
- Improved the bump mapping slightly.

Yes, because the Kluth obviously need a super dread because of their utter lack of firepower and battlefield control..
