As the title says, i get this every time i try to start the game from my shortcut. worked perfect 8 hours ago.

hah ninja'd. I've got the same thing.
however I was disconnected mid-session, no settings changed or anything, just got 'trying to reconnect' without any success.

It worked until about 20-30 min ago. GameCQ was fine and then just.. stopped. Oddly enough, I was still connected to MV after the disconnect... I should have stayed on it, rather than give into my curiousity. 
I didn't update anything. I think it just crashed.

Naw, I think in-game stuff is fine from what I noticed. Its just once you quit/log off to see why lobby is quiet, your out/off for good. (Well, until this is fixed).
I thought I was going crazy, especially seeing as nobody was putting anything in the forum about it... Or else I would have made this topic 20 minutes ago lol.

Ahhh, I didn't even get to that part. I didn't check for updates, gamecq just disconnected while I was still logged into MV, flying around with nobody on. On that note, I tried reinstalling, tinkering with firewall settings, etc.
I even tried my DS on the other pc. Nothing.
I did, somehow, upon trying to connect to the gamecq client a few dozen times, was able to connect to it.. though I only saw a portion of who normally appear in chat in the list. Immediately after, I disconnected again, so at that point I gave up and figured I'd wait to see if anyone else would post about it.
It seems like its mostly the client itself, and not the game, as there are people in mv still, well, scenario server by the looks if it.

I will say this though... I am definitely regretting logging out to see if I can connect back to the lobby. As I was still in MV, flying around, when the client disconnected into nothingness. Nobody else was on.. I could have dominated  haha.
