Okay. It has now gotten to the point where I Do not want go log in, and face ICC because of Flux. In the most recent battle, everyone except the supply ship had over one fulx. This is just messed up. They arent doing this for the sole purpose of being defeated, and using it to get away. They are using it to completley piss EVERYONE off. And their response to every thing anyone says about " Lay off the Flux", is " GTN started it". What in the hell? Pimpalicous Nerd is the only one who fluxes, but he does it in good manor. He will only pull out that flux when we are retreating, and need a way to excape with less casualties on our part, or when we need something to clear up a strongly held area. I use flux on my BD, because I cant handle torps with my computer..they wont manualy detonate. I wont press the V key in battle, unless I need to get away.This is pissing me off, and I know it is for alot of other players. So please, Stop the fluxing.

If you are saying ICC not UGTO flux, your dead wrong. Everytime I log into MV as ICC I get mega fluxed by the UGTO.
BTW, I do agree the flux makes everyone mad and is probably the #1 thing that make this game unenjoyable for me, imho.
ps, I dont get lag hardely at all...

No JRE, they ADMITTED to having the flux. GTN, we do not smile apon flux, and we do not frown apon it. We are against mass fluxing, yes, but we cannot control the rest of the UGTO's actions. Most of the UGTO pilots work very well with torps, and prefer them any day.

Everyone fluxes which causes everyone to flux back which causes the other team to reflux back and on and on we go with the flux. It is the dumbest thing in ds atm and really shouldnt be there. It ruins good battles pisses people off and probably in some cases causes some to leave ds. So, the question is, why do we have flux?

Regardless, I hereby solemly swear upon the grave of my mother's father's uncle's pet reindeer (they're norwegian), that I will not use more than one flux on any of my ships, no matter what the circumstances. In fact, I likely won't use any, but one step at a time.
If I'm found to be breaking this, I'll .. do something to repent. Or something.

I the Years I've played DS I've used Flux like 3 Times.Flux started getting used by most of you in DS since 1.482 Cameout and lost your Fighting Skills Flux is No Skill It's a Copout. DS was made to be a Game of Skills not a Game of Copouts. So Start relearning your Battle Skills and Stop using Flux. Lots of PPL Left DS from all the Flux Flying around We ave about 30 PPL that play MV now when we should have 50+ at any given time of the Day.
PS. Crim you'll have to Try harder then that to become a Mod

Think I put in a couple hours last night and don't think I was was fluxxed at all the whole time. I did lose lots of systems at a few points, but some ws related to heavy damage, and the rest could have been flux beams.
Point is, it's not very easy to tell with certainty that it was Flux Wave or not. But subjectively, either I'm somehow magically avoiding it (unlikely) or it's not used as much.
My suggestion is, stop talking about it. Maybe it'll go away the lest people do.

about the flux i always carry one flux and i have always used it a a defensive weapon if i am making a retreat and have major number of torps or missles this is what imho it was meant for
the flux is one of the tool at the icc disposal to say stop using it is unrealistic that be like asking the kluth not to use repairs or cloak
