I was bored and looked up the old game.
Guess its still here. ( guess I can still run into a planet  )
I forgot the developers name, it began with Faust i think.
I was part of the In game Radio/talk show as well
( wish I saved the Cincinnati paper article they wrote about the game and us)
Will read through, but how is everyone?

I've actually just come back from ages ago. I never got to play this much when i was growing up. God do i miss this though. I remember it being so fun. I'll be damned if it isnt just as fun as i remember.

Once in a while i visit for nostalgia sake. Played this a lot when i was a kid. First game i ever subscribed to as well. Second was Anarchy Online.

Bit late to this but yes.. I still poke in now and then lol... Wish this game was more active. I remember having allot of fun back in the day with the big fleet battles that killed my old potato
I still poke into MV now and then.. Sadly not the same.

It's funny, I joined this game over a decade ago and its been a good 9 years at least since I was playing it every day, but I still wouldn't consider myself an "old" player. lmao
Sometime this year I will have been subscribed to DS nonstop for the last 10 years. What a weird thought.

Life imploded, exploded, then farted in my general direction but I am apparently still alive. I find that I have missed the Torpedo Scout death squads that ICC used to do occasionally.

I'm still ALIVE... someone sent me a PR for the game, and then I noticed the build system hasn't been working for like a year or more.. so fixing that at least.
I'm very busy with my full-time work now and days, working in HealthCare & AI now. I got divorced like 4 years ago now, sowed my wild oats for a few years, and now I'm engaged to someone else now.
Anyway, glad to see things are still being active on this forum.. might be time to dust off my C++ skills some .. haha

Oh no, could Faust actually be talking about coding DS again.
And for anyone interested, we've been having a few people daily logging back in for about 4-5 days now. If anyone is interested, you might see at least a few people on occasionally.

Anyway, t500 got me back into the game and we've been getting a consistent 3-5 people on every couple of days now. Once I was pulled back in I realized how much I missed this game.
