ok... i use aol broadband and have had major issues with lag in game until i set up my own connection and didn't use the crap aol software. now it seems i cant do that anymore so the lag is back. i have only 256m ram atm
so i was thinking it could be that?
any help would be much appreciated

Anything to do with AOL is bad..AOL is nothing but a glorified virus!
You have plenty of ram so....

AOL ! man why do poeple in the UK use that rubbish
Ok if you want to checkout www.nildram.co.uk or www.jolt.co.uk for ADSL
Jolt is apart of nildram, but with the gamer in mind as Jolt run tons of game servers.
Ive used nildram for years its a great network very stable connection and good support.

WHAT AOL still exist?????
how can a company that rip off their costumers(sp?) still fare.... umm on second thought lets say how a virus distributed by a compagny still is used... oh wait AOL is not the only one either that does that...
I wonder if M$ owns AOL in some way since they are sooo similar(well bolth compagnies rip their clients off their cash... and bolth compagnies distributes viruses that eats 50% of your ram for no reason )
