 | | | | | | | Due to a hardware failure of a router at our ISP we lost all DarkSpace servers beginnning yesterday at around 2:00PM CST. We moved all the servers to a new co-location; now the servers are all back up and running at their new home. |

 | | | | | | | At approximately 15:50 EST, December 2, the noble forces of the ICC eradicated the last UGTO presence on the planets of the sol system. This system was the last holdout of the decadent UGTO, ripe for liberation by the ICC. With the final revolt of Mercury against their UGTO oppressors, the entire metaverse is controlled by the ICC. This will usher in a new golden age of prosperity for all of mankind. |

 | | | | | | | We're are getting the new release servers online for testing the billing and rights systems. Before release, all players can join the official Palestar green servers for testing before release.

 | | | | | | | Austin, Texas, November 20, 2001 - Palestar, Inc. today announced that their action/strategy massive multi-player title DarkSpace has now registered more than 20,000 players to their Open Beta program which began in mid July.
During the last four months Palestar has continued to improve the game play and accessibility of DarkSpace prior to launch. Loyal testers and players played a large role in this overall improvement of the product. Many thoughts and suggestions have made their way into the final product.
Now Palestar is nearing it's official launch date. Last minute details are nearly complete with Palestar's new worldwide partner. An announcement is expected in the coming week or so as to their partner and details of the launch.
Richard Lyle, Palestar's President and Lead Programmer, comments 'We're pleased with the way in which the game plays at this point. With the recent addition of the map editor, we believe the product is ready for launch. Now we're simply awaiting our agreement with the new partner to be finalized.'
The Austin-based developer envisions the beta test period will close shortly but that new interested gamers may still download the client and play DarkSpace until an announcement is made as to the official launch date.
