Each faction possesses a technology for a special device which may be found on many or all of their space-borne warships.
Flux Wave
The Flux wave is a device which stores electro-magnetic flux charges in itself. When activated, it discharges the massive energy contained within to rupture the molecular cohesion of the particles of enemy warship hulls and armoring in a large area around the device. This device is found mainly on dedicated combat and assault ships for augmenting their strength.

Pulse Shield
The Pulse shield is a device which combines the disruptive nature of the Pulse beam with the projective capabilities of ICC Shield technology. The result is a high-powered energy wave which is projected outwards to detonate explosive projectiles and fighter engines at a distance.
Due to the wave nature of the discharge, it is not able to defend against energy-carrying cannon shots, torpedoes and lasers. Adding to that, the Shield nature of the discharge results in some targets surviving the otherwise powerful burst.

Cloaking Device
All K'Luth warships possess the ability to 'cloak' - to hide themselves completely from external detection by absorbing and neutralising all electro-magnetic spectrum energies. This ability is classed as the Cloaking Device.
