Virge Wireframe actually also showed cloaked K´luth ships. Therefore disabled.

Aye, a few players were using the Wireframe for Exploit purposes.

As for Moon's suggestion on "cloaking" mines, it was touched on earlier, it's not simply "drawing" the mine on the screen, it's the Server having to track all the locations of mines dropped, and then holding them on memory until either 20 minutes goes by, or someone hits them. Even if this game had the worst graphics in the world I'd imagine we could kill the servers with mines ...
But it's a pretty game (Sue me, I live with 2 women, I hear the word pretty 15 times a day) ...

graphics dont matter for the server, but the locations....

yes, some of you might not beleive that a server cant keep track of a few mines

but to show an example

i used to play mankind some loong time ago

then, a huuuge war started out there between the 2 most powerful factions in the game

that very day half of the servers crashed because those 2 tried to move a great deal of their fleets, a good million i believe....

and those servers were a lot bigger.....

Disabled Wireframe mode

I know this may sound stupid, but any chance of getting it back? I personally thought that it was a cool little thing to have(it's fun to see the ships in wireframe from time to time), and I can't see much harm in letting it stay.

i agree it looks funny BUT Some people where able to see cloaked kluth with this. Im UGTO so didnt mind its kinda unfair if you could see em that way.

To find out wireframe mod showed cloaked ships really annoys me.

I suspect it is the answer to several questions I had about how people targeted me. I think it must have been far more commonly used than just a few players.

I totally agree, sometimes it really sucks if people know bug and use them for exploit instead of reporting them to a Mod or Admin...

Shame over you ICC and UTGO!

yes, you are right

it was known by all the ICC and UGTO - player's, an all of them used it to hit you poor, little, helpless and weak K'Luth - player, who never stood a chance against every micro-ship

nope, roomer

shame over YOU, who blame all player for the bad behavior of some of them

Yes, don't go saying "shame on you" to all the UGTO and ICC please. I for one never knew of this bug, and only used wireframe mode from time to time because it was fun, not because it did anything for me. While I'm sure some people used it, the fact that we didn't hear of this until now leads me to believe that only a handfull of people used it; you can't keep a secret like this if many people know about it.
