*sigh*

Ok, the discussion was about the new out of combat (OOC) timer increase. Pantheon changed it back to 10 seconds base + 10 seconds per ship level, if I recall correctly.

He also increased jd recharge by 30% when OOC (a very good change I might add).

I also strongly suggest:

1. Doing the same to repair times (+30% when OOC).

2. Disconnecting docking control from the OOC (allow a ship to dock at any time).

So back to the question I had beforehand Alcedo: Are you proposing we do that for hull, armor and shields as an all around 30% increase to repair rates when out of combat? or just to the armor and hull?

I don't know about shields. I haven't played ICC in a long time, so I do not know what the effect would be.

My point is simply to increase the game pace or decrease time spent waiting. All this waiting for stuff is having a serious impact on game speed.

I suggest first starting with hull only (for all factions) and then maybe work from there to armor and (if shields are too slow in testing) shields too.

It is worth noting that Shields have their own specific OOC variable, as the repair system cannot effect them. So I can modify repair speed without effecting anything else, or visa versa.
