These are proving to be very problematic as they make it extremely difficult for players to escape, and has on several occasions started arguments of exploitation and overall cheapness of kills gained by this design oversight.
The boundaries are not vusually defined, so you have no idea where it is.
The boundaries are often so small that they cut off roughly 5k from planets, so anyone who tried to jump out is in plain view, and pretty much toast.
If possible, please size up the boundaries on all of the maps.
Since different servers are on different elevations, there should be no harm in having overlap, some already do and you can find yourself straight above the star of another system.
There are ways around this limitation but Its just becoming an issue and pissing people off.

there is a thread called "soft release feedback".
map boundaries are small to reduce server load. bigger maps, higher server load. Agreed, not being able to jump 100K gu out from a planet and make supply platforms there except in a few very large systems is an option that will be missed. weigh it out vs server load and i rather have small maps and be able to jump max 30K out from any planet.

He is right. Me and alot of ppl doesnt like not to have enough space to jump away or to build platforms! Shame

while smaller maps are more efficient, it's bad for gameplay when the border is 5k from a major planet cluster.

Its really bad in a few systems. I believe in Groom I made it not even 2k away from the gate and just went sideways the whole 25s jump.

If it is indeed a server load issue, then it would be welcome if they could find a way to draw a bounding box for the systems in navigation, since it becomes a very relevant gameplay mechanic when you're always running into it.

I tried to jump to what I'm selecting, which is 10k further away then where I ended up. The border was 1k away from this planet.. Making this get-away jump absolutely worthless.
