I was wondering how much of a hassel it would be to incorporate the ability to take ones self off the population list or rather appear on the F2 map to "friendly" players.

I think a simple toggle on the F2 Screen would do the trick.

I ask for 3 levels of visabiilty, All, Group, and Off Completely (less Admin, and the powers that be.)

There are 2 main reasons that I ask for this toggle switch to be included.
The first being "AI" related. The well meaning bunch can sometimes have uninteded consequences. The second is the Super Tracker group.. those that have an uncanny ability to locate you no matter how remote.

"Super Trackers" as you call them (your enemies) have developed their abilities based on experience. So unless they're cheating by having another PC nearby who's on your team, this should not be changed.

I'm just calling it out like i'm seeing it.. "skillz" developed or not. yeah they could be running more machines or having friends send coordinates. I'm not sittn here saying punish or ban or whatev. I'm just saying hey here this could helf out if there would be a toggle to allow a player to make that decision on their own.

I'm not going to cry wolf or claim foul to the nearest Mod/Admin. I've been here long enough to know whats dirty pool. I'm just letting you Know, from the Players point of view to you as the managers of this game. Feel free to take this issue and run with it or not.

I wouldn't want to do this mainly because it'd be a huge hassle for such a minor thing with little to no benefit.
