What if something you can predict still can't be stopped regardless? Perhaps it is the end of the world! D:
...or perhaps waffle brought up the topic of the mayan calender ending on a certain day...indirectly....to which I say...regardless of how advanced it is it eventually does like.... have an end! Like all calenders....the rest is just speculation. D:
I don't see any mayan handbooks anywhere that say 'ok...when our calender ends...you all DIE! >:D
So I remain skeptical like waffle. >.>

The only thing definate is that in a few billion years Sol will become an unbalanced star and swell into a Red Giant.
Which will then consume Mercury and Venus and roast our little spec of a rock.
