ships shouldn't be balanced on rank/badges. They should be balanced to fit in game with the factions strengths and weaknesses. Kenny's Idea is the best one I have seen, and seems pretty respectible. Would wanna do some testing first before I gave it +1 though.

i still think making it VA rank and maybe taking some armour off it is the best idea maybe give it silver combat or something but seeing how luth is the only faction not to have a VA dread..
