just an idea for icc shield mode is a auto-management mode where shield power would be diverted to and arc that is taking damage maybe would help new players to get the hand of flying before worrying about the mico magaing side of icc by having it as a mode you can chose to have it on or off therefore if you dont ant it or dont like it it doesnt affect you at all

Not sure why this is really needed. The concept of shield rotation isn't that hard to teach/understand. Just spam the number on your numad to reinforce the arc that is taking damage when your getting attacked.

I can see why its could be needed.
But implimenting it be way to much work. plus add a lot of load on to the server since i has to now check if shields are taking damage, if so what arc, then divert power to that arc.

No your right it isnt but for new players icc is a faction that can be harder to learn than others this would let them get used to flying the ship before worrying about shield rotation also think about how many times your trying to look at incoming fire dodge that by turning and then trying to rotate shileds

I could make use of such a system. Not because idk how to rotate shields, but because my numpad is separate from my keyboard and has it's own batteries. Usually I don't use rechargeable ones on the numpad so when they run out, I forget to buy new ones, and when I do buy new ones, I forget to buy rechargable ones. So, yeah.. If someone else has a wireless keyboard with such a wacky design, then I could see a reason for that..
But for other than that, I honestly think manual shield rotating is better.

Doesn't pressing numpad 5 level the shields out?

You can assign a number to all shields, and it'll balance them out.
