Was just wondering if one of the devs could look into a bug in dres kona where the autopilot sends you directly into the sun as if it wasn't there. this seems to occur if you try to use the autopilot and go to a gate or planet on the other side of the star. This doesn't happen all the time but when it does its very annoying. Thanks for you time

Are you having your autopilot orbit the planet or jump to it? Orbiting should not do that, but jumping will happily ram you straight into anything that happens to be in the way.

it doesn't even have to be a planet, and i always hit O when going to planets. It usually happens when i go from somewhere on the other side of the sun and try to get to the borealis gate by hitting follow. It just sends you straight into the sun

Ship Autopilot logic is being worked on at the moment.

Why? well the AI is getting upgraded and they use the same logic for path finding to destinations.

Just sit tight, when the AI is done. you might find that a whole lot of the autopilot issues could be resolved. (and possibly a few added but time will tell)
