in the last 3 days i have lost 2000+ pres. since im a Vice Ad, and need 10,000 pres, i cannot afford to slide backwards. im just gunu stay off the game for a while and wait for the next update. They say that the pres gain is too high, but the loss for just a simple friendly fire is worse (and you know,... death takes a high tole too)

WELL FOOL GO TO THE SCEN SERVER. learn to build ive made almost 10k pres from building alone.
Edit: also learning to build there is greast pres and you die rarely if you set up platforms, so go to scen im useually in there when im in the Meta. the Scen has minimum lag. and best of all its fiar and simple to get used to most VA and above players try to build there SY those lower have a habit of harassing Engies. and in there i make 3 or 4 times as much as i lose in there. and Dreads not always the best waepon. gota know what to use and when if you do you can eat the enemy factions

I dont know how u lose that much as UGTO. I couldnt lose points as a uggy unless I just spawned and SD'd. Faction-negating armor, defense stacks, and the highest player numbers are all in your favor. May sound cruel, but I would have to say you simply aren't playing right. Stay out of a dread until you learn to play.

Holy crap, yeah.....you've got waaay too much FF, over half of what I do and you've got like 10% the playtime, learn when to hold your fire when allies are in the way and you won't be doing so badly. Also, listen to Az and stay out of Dreadnoughts until you can use them well, you've got way too much res lost.

My advice is to stick to cruisers and smaller till you get admiral. The torp cruiser, Battle Cruiser, and gunboat dessie are all good choices. one thing I don't recommend is flying the Carrier or Agrincourt Dreadnaughts as they are easy targets, and VA's fly them like Battledreads or EAD's. if you do fly them, don't try to go 1v1 with a Mandi, siphon, Combat dread, or an Assualt dread. Thats just a recipe for disaster

yeah dont shot if someone is in front of ya (DUH). and stay away from dreads (you have 1/11th the res lost compared to me and look at my play time)

how the hell did you get that much friendly fire? I am VERY cautious about hitting friendly targets, and I will shift+space my shots if they are gonna hit somebody.
I don't have nearly as much ships damaged as you, but I don't go into a situation if there's a good chance of dying, and I prefer to be in the presence of friendly players.

um, it could be just hitting things with torps when too close....?
Its not like you cant ff yourself, and Im guessing that is probably the issue with his ff. Otherwise people would be saying things like "you ff me all the time!"

I used to FF a lot when I was obsessed with my +48% enh Scarabs. Those mines had a large blast radius.
All that said, u just gotta be more aware of the battlespace situation. Don't shoot when your teammates are in the line of fire. It's really tt simple.

I may not be the greatest pilot but the secret is practice. Using a smaller ship is also a great idea, your Gunboat destroyer is surprisingly nasty.
