It's WoW with lightsabers. That being said, its not bad at it. Been playing it for a few weeks and I'm less bored than I was playing WoW after three days.

(almost) exactly as warcraft
but the point why i play this instead wow: i dont know every f*****g quest the game have to offer (yet)

Is a great game its got me addicted. You don't have to be the Jedi or the Sith to get the great powerful results in combat. Each one has a good storyline. I bought Kaxis a copy just because its way better playing with a buddiie. I myself have a trooper level 19. I've kinda slowed down on it seeing as I love playing more than one character in any game. Though my troop seems to do the job the other classes just don't seem to do. Take out multiple enemies at once with a powerful punch.

Star Wars for me has become so tired and stale and, well, lame. It's become extremely lame, ever since the prequels really. I just can't get into any Star Wars that isn't based on the original trilogy or after. There's just something about the rest of it that turns me off.
If I wanted to play a game like WoW I'd play Rift. I beta tested it, I enjoyed it, and at the time my computer could barely handle it even on minimum settings. SWTOR will be more successful than Star Trek online for sure, but does it have staying power? I've read mixed reviews at best, and that's not good.
