I remember when scenario was the place to be.
I remember when a dread was a fairly rare sight, and stations were almost unheard of.
I remember Dion had hypermatter, Articus and Articus A had urdanium, and Titan had darkmatter.
I remember when jumping from Az to Azuk (or vice versa) took like 130 seconds or so.
I remember when Kluth had no armor except for the Shell, hence it's name.
I remember when factories were used to build ship parts.
I remember fitting my Scale with CL2k and EMP cannons.
I remember when there were no shipyards, and you had to start at your faction's gate in the MV and actually travel to your destination.
I remember first hearing about this game when I was playing Cosmic Rift. I believe it was (BIS)Bumblebee who mentioned it ingame but I could be wrong - it was over 10 years ago.

Loved that game. Rogue Trader was the place to be. Then come may 2002, Sony kills it off the community by converting it from a free to play game to pay to play. Left a void for action space combat for quite some time.
Pretty much raked up over 2 million credits from mining over two years and spammed rogue trader outposts all over the map on random private teams before I left that game. Fun times. [ This Message was edited by: Azure Prower on 2011-08-20 12:09 ]

I log on Cosmic Rift every once in a while and there's usually 0 people playing. There's billions of people on earth and not one is playing that game.

Pretty much. Infantry still limps on time to time, but Cosmic Rift has been completely dead for 4 years or more now. The game Tanarus that I played in the 90s was closed down recently too.
