dude, I really don't want to insult your pride or something, but please, pleeeeease, think a little more before you write something:
Cincinnati is the UGTO's main system. NOT Luyten. They have luyten in beta, because the AI CAPTURED it. If the K'Luth AI would've been there first, it would belong to them; If the ICC AI would've been faster, it would belong to them; but the UGTO was quicker.
Edit: darn commas and typos >.>

ok maby for you i call luyten UGTOs main system cuz there always spawning there and most lilkly place to find UGTO thus its there main system and if this map is released i dont think luyten will revert to unowned, thus it will still be UGTO. and i wasnt thinking bout beta and who owned wat i was thinking bout the map being in MV as said before luyten will not revert to unowned thus it will still be UGTO and for the record i do think bout wat im gonna say before i say it.-Grand Admiral Ray has spoken

*sigh*
when 1.670 came out; LUYTEN WAS UNOWNED!(!!!!!!11111oneoneone1!!!)
the devs only gave 3 systems to all factions (I don't count R33, since it is almost always ignored ingame anyways)
those are:
cincinnati -> ugto
epsilon eri -> kluth
tau ceti -> icc
luyten is a battleground, belonging to the faction that is dominating it.
it's NOT the ugto's MAIN SYSTEM, it is their FRONTLINE.
it is simply a matter of player activity and numbers that luyten is ( almost ) always ugto.

I agree with the idea of having a buffer system between cin, tau and epsi.
Currently its too easy for luth or ugto(or both at the same time) to hop into tau one system away and pop fools when luth and ugto both have to go through one system to get to eachother(or just go to/come from luyt but that never happens). not very balanced for icc side imo
Plus, its too easy for r33 to naturally fall into ugto control imo. make r33 a center frontline system like luyt and dres kona.

wouldnt it make more sense for ugto and ICC to be adjacent, if youre going to be silly and do that?

Regardless of the above new map, we still going to meet in the middle and have the same as what we have now.

But we never did. Because the way we use to bomb planets, and how mirvs worked back then the front line moved back and forth through systems, not just one place.
Nice try Doran, must try harder.

Me gusta!

Borealis gate 3 in Dres-Kona is linked to both Borealis gate 2 in Luyten and Dres-Kona gate 1 in Kaus though it correctly sends you to Kaus, however Luyten gate 1 in Kaus is a homegate and does not link to Borealis gate 2 in Luyten where it should lead, and Borealis gate 2 in Luyt sends you to Borealis gate 3 in Dres-Kona instead.

yes and im not sure why its doing that. the gates were set up correctly and verified, and they're displayed correctly on the web map as well.

Hmm I liked that first one better : (
I liked the idea of the 2 center systems without jumpgates connecting them.
Still wish we had more systems so it could at least feel like the front line moved around like the old days. I know we probably won't ever return to the huge all-in-one Sag map but even if each current system was divided in half and 2 systems were made from the planets that are currently in each one would be nice. Maybe it would even add some strategy back into the game. Right now it's just a tactical combat game...

The first one seemed better, yes, it just needed a bit of work so the ICC and Kluth systems were not directly adjacent.
