The cavet against Google+ is that it tracks EVERYTHING you do. If you are logged into your profile it will track all of your internet web browsing and searches all in the name of creating a personal marketting profile of you to direct advertisements (and which they sell). |

Pretty much like Facebook, then, although I suspect you're overplaying the "GOOGLE TRACKS ALL OF YOUR WEB BROWSING" thing, which it only does if you're logged in and on a google webpage, which makes it hard for them to track everything you do.
Similarly, Facebook keeps track of all of your groups and friends and basically everything facebook related and sells directed advertising.

Yeah I stated that if you are connected to your profile... And by use of cookies, every time you launch Google to do a search it can attach that to cookie information from your Google+ profile...
That not withstanding, if you use a toolbar, and they will probably launch a Google+ toolbar for your browser then yes, it is constantly tracking everything you do on the web.

| To be honest, I don't think it's that big of a deal if google does track what I do online. I figure my ISP is doing the same. If they want to watch me as I go to:
DarkSpace, Facebook, Twitter, G+, Facebook, DarkSpace, JBudORG, Facebook, Google, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, G+, etc...
That's fine by me.

Ditto.
You only have a problem if you're doing stuff you know you shouldn't.

I used to think that way too, but then I realized the potential for abuse. Assuming that because you aren't doing something wrong (entirely subjective btw) that that information can't be used to harm you in some way is naive. Someone knowing where you are and/or what you are doing at all times is a bad thing.
