I have no idea if people are trying to troll me with terrible math but here is the correct answer. Remember our middle school algebra, PEMDAS LR

Exponents
Multiplication and Division
Addition and Subtraction
LEFT to RIGHT
Multiplication and Division have the same precedence. We know this because division is simply multiplication of inverses. The same holds true for Addition and subtraction. Also recall that we solve left to right. Therefore:
Resolve all P's
48/2*(12)
Resolve all E's
48/2*(12)
Resolve all M/Ds from LEFT to RIGHT
1. 24*(12)
2. 288
There are no A/S to resolve, we have arrived at the solution.
