What a daft request. There's already a confirmation message. We're not going to babysit every single UI action you do.

"Are you sure you want to attack this target?"
"Are you sure you want to jump to this target?"
"Are you sure you want to turn left?"
"Are you sure you want to move the mouse?"

Common sense stopped being common a long time ago.

The problem with any sort of confirmation system is, ship deletion becomes habitual. Unfortunately this means that no matter what measures are put in place, you will end up deleting a ship or two when you don't want to, this mistake is yours alone. The game has a confirmation in place, you bypassed it with a habitual doubleclick on the remove button.

With a lock system you wouldn't be locking frequently deleted ships, like for example an extractor, engi, frig, etc. You would lock valuable ships that you didn't want to delete anyways.

Since the confirmation system only applies to some ships, it does not become habitual to bypass it.

Yes, exactly. At least someone understands what I'm trying to say. Also consider when ships randomly change positions in the garage it becomes very easy to click on a ship in what SHOULD be the "spawn on the fly" slot but was suddenly switched with another ship that was normally elsewhere in the garage, again, especially when the two ships have a similar name.

one thing i learn while playign shooters is sometime you so much on the edge instead of clickign once, you click 3 times super fast

(Learned from playing COD when emptying a Desert eagle clip in 0.2 seconds)

There is already a confirmation before you delete a ship. If you are half asleep, drunk, or dead and somehow still click through twice and delete the wrong ship, well the onus is on you at that point and its not our fault.

We already give you a "are you sure you want to throw away a million dollar investment?", if you click yes then you need to take responsibility for your own actions.

Pretty much a mute point at this juncture I would venture.
