This is an interesting tactical element I thought about.
Its another mode that you can set infantry to, where they will seek out the nearest structures and attempt to capture them. That is, allied structures on an enemy planet.
The process takes just as long as razing. (Incase you don't know, this is a really long time.)
They will only be able to capture structures such as depots, ports, sensor bases, interdictor bases, and defense bases. They will not be able to capture anything else. I thought about shipyards too, but being able to spawn from an enemy planet seems a little silly, unless we expand on the idea of what the definition of shipyards really are.
Because we pretty much let us teleport around. Why not make them pretty much canonized wormhole structures? Because thats what they really are doing - teleporting ships.
Its not a technology not entirely out of bounds of Darkspace reality.
Of course then you have to expand on what really "builds" ships in DS. Should we make it so that Shipyards only build ships and that actually moving around Darkspace really involves spawning from wormhole structures? That just makes entirely more logical sense.
Oh man I really got off point didnt I? I have an imagination when I drink.

The question is whether the system allows enemy structures on friendly planets... or vice-versa.

Could be put into the defend line, but given an if function for when its on a planet or on a ship, that way it saves on adding a new command that would cause problems when troops are dropped onto a planet with the capture command on......though isnt that what there set to do already under atack, and rase does more system dammage?
Would be nice to know if setting the troops to different stances before dropping on a ship does different things

Won't adding this feature make it hard on the servers?
NounPlanet_Mycopia(NounStructure1){
Type_Farm2;
Position_Slot114;
CurrentHP_50;
MaxHP_100;
Faction_UGTO;
KLuthCapture_0,ICCCapture_0,UGTOCapture_70,PirateCapture_30,MICapture_0;
}
That kind of hard. Theoretically speaking, it would increase the server's planetary record-keeping database size by a minimum(?) of 50%. That is big.
Mind you, this is my imagination of structure database records. Actual may be much bigger/smaller and tracking capture rate may require more than 5 variables.
Stop drinking already Valentine you could be on a hospital bed for ulcer or jail for drunk driving.
