First off, flash is an extremely skilled vet in my opinion. He is the type to rank up quickly in any game, in other words he has skill. Also he has 242 hours played since then. It is to be expected that he will get major pres. Hell if we all be efficient and be on when the actions up we will all get a good pres/time ratio, and thats just on top of his skill.
Also it does seem luth players are hating, though i thought UGTO/ICC relations were worse than UGTO/Kluth.

It hasnt anything with Flash to do..i just used him as an example.
Its just far to easy, heck ive playd today in mv and got 15k prestige. In one day and gaining 15k prestige...
Its just to easy. And if u look at the rankin list youll see, and special in the Ship Damage section.

Flash knows how to play. And he really puts effort in game.
The problem is do we put enough effort to destroy him or are we over concentrating on Steve?
Perhaps we should have a Flash bounty event lasting for 1 month when he reaches #1 to celebrate him.

Actually I have to agree with Flash.
He puts in time. So time = effort. You play more, you play smart, you get pres, you rank up. Simple as that. There's nothing magical about that.

3) LOL... No, they'll QQ more. Something along the lines of "It's easy to gain pres as Kluth cos you don't die as much"
4) After GA, pres don't mean anything.
In short, pres gain's been too easy. Combat nets a whole lot now, no point doing anything else except for the badges that you need.

There's an idea.
Right now the only thing i care for is combat because it's both fun and profitable.... more so, than all the other activities in game.
Halve the combat pres, and boost everything else, and you'll probably see more suppies, more engies, more trannies, more bombers. Give pres to mining and you'll see ppl making an effort to mine planets for res in addition to just getting res for their own needs (building their new ship)

Mining could slowly take away resources from Resources Lost,. boosting pres that way.
If hull damaged copped some sort of nerf,. armor damage could be slightly boosted cuz its been nerfed enough,. completely depleteing armor and shields off a heavy cruiser earns you about 5 pres so thats adequate from the initial 0 it used to provide.

If i need to rank people who plays ugto , that would be spartan>Flash>nemesis>steveyk ,(thanks god ,lithium isnt ugto). As you see it isnt prestige-wise.
Prestige in darkspace means nothing. You might be a grand admiral and still kick ass of CM. The problem of darkspace , first 10 places doesnt reflect the reality of the game. I believe Flash is a realy good pilot ,one of the best active players. But doesnt matter how good is he , with 1/4 of coombie/steveky's time played , he shouldnt be able to have their points.
I want to add something more. I really dont like the idea of changing prestige system with every patch. A few patch ago , in 1.483 , someone called Nim , made 201.767 planet damage. Now , I challenge whole darkspace community who can beat him at planet damage ranking in 30 days will receive 50k credits from me.
Now,Prestige system is broken. Some friends , just to try it , made a small test. It took only 9 days to make FA. 14 days to GA with a new account.
If we change the combat prestige system, new players and some ex-vets will never be able to catch people like flash etc...
So if you gonna change something about prestige system , please make it last forever for every patch.

2) I do, thank you. Probably with less time on than you nowdays too.

I remember when me and Flash was Admirals, MI farming back in proc before now( Was known as Fallen Wing/Valkyrie. ), I actaully surpassed him for days, but when I started to BS a lot more, he came up quick but I don't think he got FA before me.
I respect his hustle to the top, rather quick too lol but I don't know how the Pres gain of 1 individual ties to the entire pres gain system...
