On another note,figured out how to change my user name(didnt realise that would also be my ingame handle when I started playing),& still slowly figuring out the game.Having a blast though.Been trying out the different factions & enjoy the different styles.great game so far & seems to be a great bunch of folks playing it as well. Hi & welcome. To stop crashing into planets don't use the j button use f (to follow) or o (to orbit ) lol have fun and pratice in scenerio not mv until u get better.

Hello again.Really loving DarkSpace so far.Havent been in the scenarios yet but may have to check them out.Been having too much fun just flying around looking for red things to shoot. lol
Just reread manual & found out how to set up weapon groups so that should help me with energy conservation issues.Read it earlier,but this game has a lot to take in.I'm fine with that though.Depth is a good thing.I did discover one valuable thing the hard way.If talking on vent with friends while fighting...with ctrl as push to talk button...and using a,s,d keys to move...then right turns can be BAD! lol "Man,this is a great fight.I'm kicking butt!...BOOOM! Oh,no! What the heck!! " lol

Thanks,and thanks again to everyone else who has welcomed me to this fantastic game.I am having a great time(in fact I'm on the pc at work,reading the forums & manual when I cant be home playing now,lol).Been hopng to find a good space combat game for years & stumbled into a great one.My friends are all probably getting tired of hearing about it in fact.
