id suggest keeping the shield/armour gain the same while hull damage is lower.
allows the sporadic players to still level without affecting the flow with dedicated players.

Why would casual/sporadic/etc players not be skilled enough to hit hull?

I'm going to keep lowering it til we're happy with the results. Players are absolutely not meant to be gaining thousands in minutes. The prestige for armour/shield damage was always meant to add a little something on the side for players who faught but jumped out at hull (ergo, earning no prestige).

What is ICC supposed to do? We missle spam all day, and before said missle spam gets to hull, people leave due to the insanely low damage missles due(hopefully that change gets put in soon).
I would love to not missle spam, but until i get to admiral, im gonna have to. And at the rate things are going with prestige, it looks like most of us never will.

god this is pretige heaven compered to 483 version was lucky to make 1k in a few days in that version now u can make 15-20k a week pres in this version

Exactly. Listen to this man. Prestige gain is wildly out of control.
Now if you reduced the amount gained from hull too, that would be awesome. But I don't foresee that and will be happy with whatever we get in terms of reduction in gain. Its just too easy to gain it as it is.

Actually i do know. Were talking about lowering pres gain for shield and armor damage(correct me if im wrong), and im saying icc typically hits shield and armor with missles. Those missles do not so good damge, so before said missles get to hull, people jump out.
For kluth for example, this would be great, as they can get to hull quickly to get at the prestige. But its not so good for the lower damage dealing factions.

no i don't think you know what you are talking about. And if you are using missles only then you are not adapting to the situations and then yes you will get les pes. Use the other ships like combat dessie, Stealth vette so on an so forth that don't use missles but use more torps, cannons or lasers

I have always maintained that it should take no less then 10 months of Grinding to get from cadet to GA, anything less is to easy for a skill game like DS, and the pres gain stats should be changed accordingly.
My 2 cents.
