Well when you are using MD, you surely:
1/ Orbiting planet
2/ Hugging station
Therefore requires less skill than CD or AD.

I think MD is a very lazy dread. What you should care is pressing spacebar, ordering a supply repair you, and jump away when someone jump you.

You could ECM cover missiles and trivialise the PD defences.

I think the rank requirements are fine as is for these ships.

reply to the people that think MD's suck. They dont just gota learn how to fly them... and they can go Toe 2 Toe with the other dreads use your JD to your benefit and learn to target empty space if they get to close to you

What u need to know about flying a missle dread:

Step 1: Fire Missles
Step 2: Resupply Missles
Step 3: Repeat

Flying a MD is not that easy. You got constantly watch your weapons, anything up close will easily kill you, and basically you got to always keep a backup jump. Not to mention, K'luth can easily destroy a missile dread. It is basically a snack for those hungry K'luth.

Well, the carrier dread is a jack of all trades ship.

i wouldn't try to go out solo in one and go head to head with another dread but it's certainly not the planet hugger it used to be.

I think its good that fresh Vice Admirals may fly the MD, it forces them to fly different and encourages them to hit Fleet Admiral.

So: +1 No to switch rank access.



I am quite sure: The MD JD charges already faster then the AD !?
And to do the real damage you cant always just hug a planet firing Protons,
you have to get in IT/AR range.
Watch FF, energy,ping,pulse, turn shields, ammo.

Its easy to fly then but easy to lose too.. (me must know)
Like every ship it has its special way to be most efficent, capable of doing bombing missions and up to 48% more powerfull with enchanted enchancements

Yeah. It slows down their progress to Adm, and hopefully there'll be less CMs, Ms, and GAs around!
