Hello,
ive been thinking aboit the Interceptors launched from a Carrier, noone seems to use them.
Anyone have some numbers to compare for like the A34 and the Interceptors or so? what makes them so bad?

intercepter's don't do what they should do. intercepters are ment to intercept enemy fighters and missile's. they don't do this or you need to do it manualy ordering them seperatly wich is a pain and not worth the trouble
intercepters have less fire power but they are faster then normal fighters

Interceptors start attacking when they get into pd range, and they never intercept anything
the fighter attacks outside of pd range so it can lay alittle bit of damage before it gets shot down

The only use I can think of for Interceptors is attacking Scouts, Fighters will miss a Scout every time unless there's dozens of them attacking from different directions so it's impossible to dodge all the projectiles. Interceptors use beams so they do not miss, and since pretty much all Scouts have 1 beam it takes quite a while to shoot them all down so they're guaranteed to take damage.
Then again hardly anyone uses Scouts as a general rule so yeah, Interceptors are pretty well worthless currently.
