I had a similar encounter in beta when I was testing with Coeus, one of the AI Combat dessies jumped at me, but went through the planet and didn't crash. Then it just orbited the planet and stared at me from the other side.

its simples to do, fly at full speed towards planet then just pres shift + o when your 20gu away. lol have fun
