Question regarding different engine upgrades and top speed |

After reading some of the DarkSpace documentation,

AFE
Thrust Generation: 6.84 + (Level * 0.28)
Energy Capacity: 36.5
Energy Production: 0.46/s
IE
Thrust Generation: 6.0 + (Level * 0.25)
Energy Capacity: 32
Energy Production: 0.52/s
PFE
Thrust Generation: 5.26 + (Level * 0.22)
Energy Capacity: 32.0
Energy Production: 0.58/s
I figured AFE would make my ship fly faster then IE
and PFE would give me a lot more energy regeneration over speed.
But AFE has lower top speed then IE and PFE is even slower then AFE.
What am I missing in this picture? Is the documentation incorrect or is the thrust generation not related to the top speed but only to the acceleration or some thing else?

Trust is how fast you accelerate and decelerate. Its not Top speed.
All of the Energy generation value's are at 0.0 Gu/s speed because i have yet to find a proper way to give the values, since they differ per ship class, current speed and Max speed.

The data in this may be slightly out of date, as these numbers were aquired during v1.483, but they are likely still pretty close to these values.
