10th Challenger competition.

Competition date: Monday March 22nd 2010– Monday March 29th 2010 10:00 PM EST (GMT-5)
Prize:
3rd place 1000credits.
2nd place 2500 credits.
1st place $10.00 USD Paypal payment or online giftcard (winner can choose)

ALL are welcome to play. This includes staff as well. Absolutely no one has the advantage in this competition. The answer will be safely stored and will not be handed out.

There are no rules, except what is listed in the description. Just try to stick to the content of the competition.

Simple but fun, your task if you decide to accept it is to figure out the answer to the mathematical equation that I write out for you. The closest one to the number is obviously the winner. There is only one entry allowed per person. If you choose more then one number you will be automatically disqualified (No clone accounts). So you better hit that edit button before I see it if you make a mistake. To help boost the involvement a little this is how the prizes will be handled. The prize amounts will not change however if there isn’t a lot of involvement then fewer prizes will be handed out.

3rd place will be handed out no matter how many entries there are.
2nd place will require 20 entries.
1st place will require 40 entries.
(NOT individual entries but I am talking total entries into the competition from players as you are only allowed to post one entry as a player.)

Also please keep all the unnecessary post reply chatter to a minimum as this will make my job a little easier in the end when trying to view them all. Good luck with the competition and if there are any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

I am always accepting donations made to Paypal. You can send the Paypal payment to my email address challengerds@gmail.com

100% of the donations made will go towards the Darkspace competition and for accountability purposes if any donations are made I will post the donator and the amount in this competitions forum post. I will not post their names upon request.

The Mathematical question is as follows:

1.)On the periodic table of elements the Atomic Weight of Zinc

MULTIPLY

2.)On the peridoc table of elements the Atomic Weight of Sumarium

PLUS

3.)According to the encyclopedia the height in feet of Mount Mickinley

DIVIDED BY

4.)The National Registry of Paramedics (USA) IVP dose for pediatric Benadryl for a 22kg child (use the number only not the mg in the dosage amount)

DIVIDED BY

5.)Amount of calories in a McDonalds double cheeseburger

MINUS

6.).1147248760330578512396694214876 (Don’t forget the decimal point.)

MULTIPLY

7.)The amount of in game credits that Challenger currently has

DIVIDED BY

8.)The tread depth of a brand new Bridgestone Turanza EL400 with Uni-T tire Size P225/55R18

PLUS

9.)The amount of time in minutes that Steveyk @176270 and Spacie @177955 have been together (get the number from either of them).

ROUND THAT NUMBER UP AND WHAT IS YOUR ANSWER?

Please post your answer. The first to post the correct answer (noted by the date and time on the forum post) will be the winner. If no one posts the correct answer then the closest to the answer will win.

All answers will be posted at the end of the competition for all to see. Please follow the rules and at all times follow the RoC when positing.

Thank you,

And happy hunting,

-Challenger

-Edit: So it has occured to me that there would be more then 1 correct answer and again the person to post the correct answer first would get the prize but in all fairness to allow people to post a duplicate answer I will hand out a Bonus prize to the person who answers correctly (even if they are not the first one to do so) if they provide the following:

(Give your answer to the equation) then pick a number between 0 and 100,000. post both and make sure to state which one is which. The person who gives the correct answer AND is the closest to choosing the 0 to 100,000 answer will also recieve a Bonus prize. Of course no duplicate answers on choosing this number please -End Edit

I do credit you for making it a challenging equation that is totally relevant to the player base..... at least statistically.

And I did get this one right on the NR

The National Registry of Paramedics (USA) IVP dose for pediatric Benadryl for a 22kg child (use the number only not the mg in the dosage amount)

All of the answers were researched via United States based web sites.

So Eledore and to anyone else who wants to know Search US websites for the answers.

Sorry I did not clarify this before.

Also do not forget to pick your number 0 - 100,000 for the bonus prize in case you do get the correct number.
