I am writting this comparison after testing the M300 to the M300-A. I would like to that [TK]Jim Starluck for helping me test the two ships and helping me get there.
M300 Missle Dreadnought
The M300 Missle Dreadnought has more firepower out of the two ships. It is packing several interchangeable slots. And has a more up-close weapon loadout out of the two dreadnoughts.

AR MkII
IT MkII
AR Missles
Heavy Gauss Cannon
2 Gauss Cannons
Several Chemical Lasers.
M300-A Missle Dreadnought
The M300-A Missle Dreadnought has the lesser firepower out of the two. But the dread causes more damage per missle with those Linear Drive Missles. Having more of a Station Weapon Loadout (Mostly Lasers and Projectiles). It makes it a great ship to attack from afar.
