I think it was a FS member who said this in a thread "Yes ICC is a bit tougher now. And YES the population is high, we can try and balance them again... perhaps the admins to do something to make no fleet players balanced. Another way to get ppl to subscribe for fleets" and I think has made other comments about non-fleet members.
The idea of modifying the game to move people into fleets is well dumb. I don't expect anyone to do something that dumb but the ideas do float out there and quite often non-fleeted players get flack for being non-fleeted or moving to whatever faction they want at whatever time they choose.

I don't think Wolf has ever shown elitism toward anyone, fleeted or not.. (Unless we're talking about ICC or uggies, then yeah, we are better) But aside from that well known fact, If we don't like your attitude or play style, then no, we won't group with you.. but then again, if we didn't like you we wouldn't fleet with you either, it's quite simple.
Not being in a fleet has it's advantages, and grouping will not promote any sort of elitism. It's always nice to have an extra piece of cannon fodder.

Hello, I too am posting in this thread to continue the clarion call of the end times. However, let me throw my hat in the ring and say that I have my doubts that any of Darkspace's active fleets are having much of a positive impact on the game. That's no reason to remove fleets from the game, but a little bit (a lot) of bleach in the community pool has been needed for about 6 years.
