There's also a no-compensation policy for things like this, although I wish you luck with whatever you want out of this topic.

I think i explained fairly clearly what i wanted out of this topic Backslash
but here is it again just for you FIX MY SHIP OR COMPENSATION.
Thanks for your Efforts but I still want to hear from a Admin directly that DS dose not take any responsibility for its bugs and my wasted time farming enhancements not to mention the frustration things like this cause its players, What dose your compensation policy cover if its not things like this?
Its not like I am asking for compensation for hitting a planet during lag or accidentaly scrapping my fav ship. I believe i have a legitimate case for compensation.
Regards Coombie

This reminds me of working at a technical service desk. Every so often you get this angry customer who ensures you that he's done everything correctly and that his device is bugged. Or just plain kaput.
Then when you say you have to send a technical team that'll take a week because of a lot of appointments, they yell they want the supervisor. Do you know what we tell them?
No, we're the ones helping you, and you're going to have to accept that.
If the supervisors/administrators wanted to personally handle each player that made a thread on the forums to cry wolf, I'm sure they'd have never bothered with assigning any moderators to act in their stead.
Seriously. If Backslash says there's a No Recompense policy, there is a No Recompense policy. It shouldn't matter whether an admin or a mod says it; the mods are the admins' representatives in day-to-day business. You can be fairly certain that a moderator won't act off his own accord.

Hopefully he just fixed it, keep your ship in storage, and next update pull it out, it should get audited against the new template (after the changes jack made) and that should fix your SI.

The admin will backup what Jack has already told you both because Jack tends to be right and because your don't want to step on the toes of those under you because someday they won't be there and you will be stuck doing all the work again.
That last post by Coombie looked like he thinks he is gods gift to DS and everyone who do want he demands. You won't get far with that. [ This Message was edited by: --Daedalus-- on 2009-10-19 09:31 ]

Calm down everyone. It's the admin's decision whether they compensate a player, and each case is handled seperately. All I'm aware of, is that there is a 'no compensation' policy, Coombie is well within his rights to wait for an admin to reply.
As I said (and JBud recited), I have removed the offending SI's and replaced them (identically infact), if this does not fix it after the next up-date, I'll have a closer look at replacing the SI's from scratch.

For his individual ship you mean? You guys can do that? Good to know if you can
Is there any idea what causes this?

In that screenshot I noticed that he had 6 inf aboard. Is this from a capture attempt and SY'ing, or can the krill really hold 6 inf? If so, I want the EAD to hold 6 inf too.
If not, carry on, nothing to see here.

Flagships can only hold 4 infantry. Normal dreads can hold 6.
