so I went afk for about 20 minutes to eat lunch with my engineer mining, when I unload resource onto the planet, I find my cargo bay filling up 8 times full for 5000 resource, it appears resource is taking non-existant cargo space.

ive noticed while mining resources that it sometimes goes up at normal rate then jumps from 60 resources or so (before people start it doesnt lag at all, i said it goes up normal rate) up to 200, but when i unload it says i unloaded the amount it should have showed in my cargo, i've never seen your problem happen though...

I stopped posting this bug Long, Long time ago..
And its been in the game for as long as i can remember/played.
As long as you have the mining beam active the mining beam will keep generating resources even if you don't have the cargo space for it.
When you unload the resources, space comes avalable and the mining beam almost instantly dumps 1000 resources in it.
A hour mining? ~80K resources on a engineer, if not more.
