Is anyone able to use AME drives? |

I cannot swap my PSI drive for an AME, period, tried relogging tried differant planets differant servers can't do it anywhere, it is green I click on it, nothing happens, I do have my engines off there is enough resources and tech blah blah

Further testing: ICC/UGTO
IE Drives - Able to swap to AFE or PFE
PFE - Able to swap to AFE
AFE - Able to swap to PFE
so if you change your IE you better be commited because you cannot swap back for it
Can someone please confirm this issue.

you can switch back to IE by switching to the engine you didn't switch to(i.e. PFE to AFE and then AFE to IE)

This isnt important, as the ability of not being able to change drives is only a kluth problem and dont effect ugto

I had the same problem with ICC so i do not believe its just a problem with Kluth. Unless you mean since it doesnt effect UGTO period then it isnt a problem....

don't know about the PSI to AME since never tested that in beta.
Tried to switch PSI to AME today and didn't worked, just like JBud said.
(Comment: some beta's ago some luth ships had AME by default, i guess these where removed, so we can't test backward. AME to PIE)
But in Beta 1.517 i have switched out all Human engines to some complexity to see whats best to be using with the new Core weapon values..
