people blowing the swine flue "pandemic" out of proportion is causing havoc on the american economy. Alredy 4 other countries have completly cancled all imports and buying of american pork, and from what i heard we sell the most pork and thats a major income to a lot of people so this is realy going to frack us up. *god i hate people that blow things out of proportion*

Lets just say "a girl I know" is a nurse at a local hospital and basically because of all the media coverage and sensationalism, EVERYONE that is coming in immediately says they have the swine flu even before a doctor or nurse checks them out.
The media has them in such a panic they are convinced they are sick and have it and won't even listen to the doctors and nurses. In fact the paitents are arguing with the medical staff because of what they heard on the news and found searching on the internet.
Its a global pandemic alright, its the biggest virus to hit the internet in a while... Even my spam has it lately...

i can tell you all why its making people go nuts.
how many of you get a flu shot?
how many of you have actualy had the displesure of having the flu?
and how would you feel if that flu got to you with no availible vaccine?
how would you feel then?

Protip for WHO: Don't publicize that it's filed under the same subtype as the Spanish Flu without first describing how different it actually is in comparison (so far).

I get the flu shot every year, one of the bane's of being a disabled Vet. V.A. hospitals make sure us old fogies get it. That said, there are treatments for the swine flu already... Any anti-viral med will keep it at bay and or erradicate it quickly.
Just a lot of people waiting to long before realizing it.
