Will event be happen in beta server?
Well some kluth weapons and ships has different layout in beta.
This need to be considered.

Thank you for your input, it is invalid.
Stations are the ones with differant layouts..... and since stations are not a part of the event.... I see no problems...

I read the dev log, however to be fair. We sometimes have lazy developers that forget to add important info to the log. So I will check them out... It's a good enough excuse to leave ICC for a bit anyways (being as beta is clanned and we are locked to UGTO atm.)

Okay, I retract my statement about the lazy devs. The changes is right infront of me: Quote:
| - Implemented heavy primary cannon variants. |
| I would like to note that this does effect all faction's ships... So, no worries about K'Luth being the only ones... The heavy cannons are more powerful and ment to reduce the projectile count... Thank you for your input, sorry for my initial re-action. I accept these changes if we do run in beta. I've added a note to the original post:
Quote:
| (*4: -Ship layouts, in beta, have been altered from their release versions, they should be just as balanced if not more... ) |

Events name was Grand Tournament, NOT High rank tournament.
Thats why i pointed out the fact that new players should have a chance to join in this event too.

This will be a ladder event, original concept by Tael. |

Originally called a tiered ladder event. I gave it the name "Grand Tournament" - and again it is only for Vice Admirals+ however, it was Fleet Admiral+ before my changes (that I made with the soul intent to keep people like you from saying what you are "This event is unfair")
If you really want me to change the name I will call it "Moderately Easy Rank to get Tournament" [ This Message was edited by: JBud on 2009-04-04 13:16 ]

I'd do this, but it'd be unfair.

I think he's trying to imply that his skill is so far above ours that it wouldn't be worth the rest of us trying.

He DOES realize this means actually PLAYING in the GAME, right? I mean combat, not forum hounding and lobby ghosting. Even then, I see several lobbyrats that would probably take him....
Also, still begging to see an event staffer at the event, locked and cocked and ready to rock with the bann cannon. I understand that this is a player designed event, and I am not trying to take anything from the organizer. But if it is listed as an event, and rewards from Palestar are officially granted, it really is in Palestar's best interest to have an official staff member there to at least monitor, if not run the event. I am TOTALLY against the idea of giving temporary mod statis just so somebody can run an event and boot cheaters and problem children. We have event staff, lets use them.

There are so many things wrong with this...
I'll put it simply, however, there really is no one... We don't really have event staff, per say, we have a few people that do help out, you could count Shigernafy or Drafell, but they are both also Developers, Moderators, and Admins, with other duties not including making it to every player event. I'm happy enough that they help me at all. Expecting them to be there during the event almost defeats the point of a player ran event. [ This Message was edited by: JBud on 2009-04-04 20:37 ]

Ha... ha, ha. Joining Crim with the group of people "just too good for events" or rather "Just too good to play at all?"
No, but it is really funny you say that right after what Azreal said... Because you've made it clear that you are a "lobbyrat" and you don't play... So, I challenge you to show up, you and Crim... (that is after I announce a time and you find out you're doing nothing anyways)
I wanna see these amazing pilot skills you both claim but I've never seen in-game because you both don't play.

I know what and how staff responsibilities are divided up. If there is nobody there willing to do it they would re-assign that duty to another mod. As a green shirt hasn't responded to the request yet, I'd say there is still hope it can happen.

Watch your words, you never know where they will bring you; Crim is hands down one of DS's greatest pilots, just because he doesn't play now doesn't mean he isn't deadly. Combat hasn't changed all that much in terms of piloting...
