the new shield rebalance, is BEAUTIFUL. i love it. all active shields on the AD is a very hard nut to crack. nice job on the shields. it takes two Kluth dreads to break my shields and hit hull.

AD energy is FINALLY at a managable level now. it drains hard, but you can manage it fine. i never once ran otu of energy fighting Kluth.

the Devs did a great job with this latest patch.

Wait for the nerf. The defensive faction being.. defensive?! How dare you!

It's great that ICC actually present a credible force now, but don't really expect it to last.

Abit to defensive by the sound of things. Two K'luth dreads on one AD?

Other K'luth players really going to have to learn to approach from the rear only in that case.

soooo, they just need to treat ICC ships like UGTO ships.... instead of the massive targets we are today! no big change!

reason for that, is because i was rotating my shields like a madman. they DID bring me to hull, about 60%.

no its not to strong. maybe with the best shield enhancements, but by themself a K'luth alpha will still strip the shields down on one side on a combat dread.

You don't even need to approach from the rear, just hit us from two different angles. The big strength of shields is that we can divert the power from all four arcs into a single one, while armor is locked into a single given arc. Forcing us to cover two seperate arcs at once halves the effectiveness of this.

Or doubling the damage to one arc, which I prefer but isn't always possible.

As for the shields themselves, I'd say they're definitely much nicer now.
