I guess I speak for a lot of people when I say I don't have time to hunt for enhancements. It's definitly a bit harder when you don't have time for enhancement hunting, to keep up with people who spend nearly 6-12 hours playing this game. I fly around with my dread with limited enhancements and all I see are people with advance and super advance(guess you can call then that ) enhancements and I don't even bother to try and attack them since it wouldn't be worth the effort.

My suggestion is to reintroduce currency. I was just thinking about this yesterday. "Since we had enhancements already why not make things simpler and introduce currency into the mix. Instead of hunting elites for enhancements, why don't we just work for money and buy them? Either through building pvping or ai hunting?" Currency could be distributed in many many forms. It could also help with this non-stop elite hunt. No one wants to build or pvp anymore because of these enhancements. People have become one-man elite hunting teams now.

What does everyone else think about this? Suggestions to add to this topic would be great.

Please, mature and thoughtful suggestions or arguments are welcomed. Anything immature please take somewhere else.

Example of immature arguments: ---> "Dumb idea...!!!!!"

Thanks

I agree... most MMO's have this concept of providing for people who play ALOT and also providing for people who have a limited about of time to play and would rather spend their money for items...

So if we added a way for you to buy enhancements using REAL money you would be interested then?

Nonononono. People who have lots of money should not be better than those without.

Didn't know we where a Korean MMO, ³¯¾¾ ¼³¿¡ ±¦Âú³ª?

But honestly, the idea for using ingame currency for Enhancements isn't bad. As long as they'd still have to somewhat work for the currency.

Considering a large amount of the player base are teenagers, that's is a pretty irresponsible thing to do...

And then the issue of money vs skill - Enhancements brought my ingame credits, which are amassed by fufilling fleet based missions maybe, but not real money.

Providing the enhancements were purely cosmetic, and had no real impact on the game play itself, then sure.

Things like different coloured ship lighting, ship trails, or other effects such as decals. People will pay good money just to customize an avatar to their own style.

LOL, they still have to work for the money and they'd be more ingauged in the game rather then AI elite hunting all the time.

It's a good idea, though i kind of like being able to hunt for mine...give me a reason to engage that ship with +48% wepons.... But if it get implemented i'd be in the boat.

Well you'd still be able to kind of hunt for you own enhancements through currency. Instead of doing one and one thing only, you'd get enhancement through hard work either building, hunting, bombing, or pvping. Compaired to nothing but AI elite hunting.

If Ds is going to charge a reasonable price for enhancements, why not?

this is where the missions come in handy, i know its stealing eves thunder but make AI missions that allow people to earn money for themselves, that way people who play the game earn the right to be able to buy enhancements
