lacking in precision and response time.
if anything, only a holographic display like thingy that will let you "touch" the objects (or rather precisely touch the things you want to interact with) and then move them around can have a serious chance of beating keyboard and mouse at their job.

my arms would get tired hovering in the air like than...if only i could think of some excersises that would promote muscle development in my arms?>?>

In Cebit 2008 there was a stand that was almost like that.
Only difference was that at long range only one input arm could be detected but for shortrange you could place your arms on custom arm-rests. (your hands would be semi-supported)
long range you could browse or make media player suggestions, but when in the arm wrests you could type, play games or other things.
Only spend 10 minutes behind the thing, but i kind of liked it very much.
To bad they guys promoting it, didn't know where we could order some....
